THE STORY BEHIND SOCO SKATELAND

SOCO Skateland LLC has been a Roller Skating Rink since 1942.  Skateland was made famous by Mrs. Simola's Lemon Pie & Green Chili Cheeseburgers while her son Bronco Billy taught everyone how to skate.  The rink later was run by The Tappia's for many years who also specialized in keeping the good times rolling.  Today Skateland is run by the Johnson's who love to hear and tell stories of Skateland's past and keep a special memorial wall for Bronco Billy. We are the 13th oldest running rink in the Nation! 80 plus years and still rolling!
